Akufo-Addo is now Prez, but despite my sacrifices, I’m treated like garbage- Bempah

General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah says although he risked his life to ensure President Akufo-Addo is elected into office, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has disappointed and betrayed him.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the man of God says he was threatened with death because he promised to pray and ensure Nana Addo was elected president.

prophet Bempah stated that he feels betrayed in light of all the sacrifices, prayers, and insults heaped on him.

Prophet Bempah expressed outrage at his arrest and the treatment he received from the Inspector General of Police following his encounter with Agradaa.

“President Akufo-Addo sat back and let them arrest me.” You, Vice President [Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia], sat there and let them arrest me. You then called to wish me a happy birthday.

You have broken every promise you have made to me, and as a result, you have allowed them to arrest me. I didn’t do anything wrong. Someone insulted me, and I was arrested and arraigned in court.”

“I will address some issues one day. Akufo-Addo has caused me a lot of pain. The prayers. Because of him, I put my life in my hands. Because of you [Nana Addo], I was being followed by people with guns and vehicles. But after you became president, you abandoned me. You got what you wanted, so I should be treated as garbage.”

“The same way we climbed the tree, we would climb down,” he said. To summarize my message, I am not upset because of a political party. I am not incensed because of the NPP. I don’t have a grudge against the NPP. I am furious at Akufo-Addo. I am also hurt by what Dampare and Bawumia have done to me.”
