Accra, Kumasi to go on lockdown for 2 weeks?
Information gathered by Rainbowradioonline.com has it that Accra and Kumasi would be on lockdown as part measures to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Our sources told this website discussion were currently underway at the presidency to finalise the decision for a possible lockdown.
Per the information received, the two cities would be on lockdown for two weeks.
The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has reiterated its call for the government to lockdown with immediate effect.
“The lockdown though not a comfortable decision for leadership and citizens alike is a proven option backed by science and along with the other measures will ultimately be in our best interest.
“We call on all Ghanaians to support such a move in the national interest to save our nation from the devastating effects of this pandemic,” GMA said in a press statement released Wednesday.
