Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi to get recording studios under round 2 of NPP
The Nana Addo led administration will construct new recording studios in the Greater Accra, Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi under its second term, the Director at the Ghana Folklore Board, Nana Adjoa Adobea Asante has announced.
Speaking at the manifesto launch of the NPP in Cape Coast, she said the NPP government would also promote and commercialize the works of artistes.
The government shall invest in the building of digital platforms to make products of creative minds available on a global market, she disclosed.
According to her, Ghanaians have been presented with an opportunity to give the president four more years to do more.
The creative arts industry she added was left to wallow in neglect when the serious business of governance was left in the hands of the previous Mahama led administration.
The only creativity the NDC cared about was to fabricate a green book of ghost achievements and propaganda but the Nana Addo led administration has been absolutely committed to the creative arts industry, she stated.
The promise to establish a creative arts court she opined has been delivered.
The era where works of creative minds were stolen she added were over.
