The chief and residents in Ablekuma Jona have decried the poor nature of their road.
According to them, the deplorable nature of the road has affected them since it becomes difficult to use it especially when it rains.
Reporting from the area, Rainbow Radio’s Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi stated that the residents and the chief are calling on the authorities to repair the road immediately.
The residents have described the road as a dam since it floods when there is a heavy downpour.
At the time of reporting, the road was flooded and had developed deep potholes with drivers having difficulty in plying the road.
Some of the drivers said their cars are always damaged due to the poor nature of the road which serves several communities.
Chief Sariki Musa Inso appealed to the government to repair the road for them.
He stated that the road he said has been in a deplorable state for several years and efforts to have authorities repair them have proved futile.
