Three more persons have died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital following an accident on the Savelugu road on Sunday, January 23.
The three new deaths have increased the death toll to 13.
The three deceased persons were part of some 33 victims involved in an accident on the Savelugu highway on their way from a funeral.
Six of the passengers died on the spot after the accident while four others died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital the next day where they were receiving treatment bringing the death toll to 10.
But the number has increased to 13 and this was confirmed by the Crime Officer Superintendent Baba Ananga.
He explained the 3 were also on admission at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
