Three suspects arrested in connection to the murder of a woman at Sefwi-Bekwai

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old woman at Sefwi Bekwai Atwumah in the Western North Region.

A statement issued by the Police said the woman had travelled to the area to consult a spiritualist but her needless body was later found dumped in an uncompleted building.

The three suspects who have been identified as Solomon Sam alias Paa Solo, John Nana Addai alias Akwasi Kokoreh and Osofo Atta alias Prince Atta who is said to be a spiritualist were arrested following Police investigation into the matter.

According to the Police, suspect Solomon Sam who introduced the lady to the said spiritualist was arrested at his hideout in Bibiani.

Further investigation by the Police revealed led to the arrest of the spiritualist.

The Police indicated that the spirituality admitted that he participated in the crime.

He then mentioned John Nana Addai as the one who contracted Solomon Sam to lure the victim to Sefwi-Bekwai.

The suspects were put before court on July 21, 2022, and will reappear on August 4, 2022, the statement added.
