Operation PAARI: Police Commend Law Abiding Riders

The Ghana Police Service has commended motor riders who abided by the traffic regulations.

The Service recently launched a campaign dubbed Operation PAARI, a campaign which was aimed at maintaining discipline among riders.

The statement from the Police said since the campaign was launched, some riders have maintained discipline on roads especially obeying traffic rules.

The statement read “The Police wish to commend all disciplined and law-abiding motorbike riders for their continued support for the Police Action Against Rider Indiscipline initiative dubbed Operation PAARI.

Operation PAARI was launched by the Police Service to encourage self-discipline and respect for traffic regulations among the riding public as well as help curb the incidents of rider indiscipline and their associated road accidents and fatalities.

As shown in the photographs, we are making encouraging progress, there is still a lot of work to be done but together we can make it.

We continue to entreat all other riders and the general public to support this initiative to restore sanity on our roads and ensure the safety and security of all.”
