We’ve not breached the directive by Finance Ministry over, payment of allowances-COCOBOD

The Management of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has denied media reports that the company has breached a directive by the Finance Ministry on the remuneration and allowances for its Board of Directors.

The Board says it has observed with concern the discussion on some portions of the 2018 Auditor General report by Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in the media and subsequent on his commentary.

The Management said although Parliament was yet to consider the report the MP is already discussing the matter and making inferences with the aim to deceive the public.
