We’ve no difficulty in campaigning because of our massive achievements-Veep
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has opined that this year’s campaign is much better for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because they have achieved a lot.
The second gentleman of the land said the achievements of the NPP are evident for all to see hence there is no difficulty in speaking about them.
He reiterated that the government has achieved 80% of its 2016 campaign promises.
The message of the NPP he indicated is to tell Ghanaians to retain the NPP to consolidate the gains made under the current administration as well as the promises by the party it would implement in their second term.
Appearing on Accra-based Asempa Fm, Dr. Bawumia said the messages we are sharing with Ghanaians are evidence-based. Our projects are speaking for themselves and it has enhanced our campaign.
He said we have achieved most of our promises and we are proud as a government. We have accounted for our stewardship and that is a critical part of our manifesto. The second part of our manifesto is to stress the need to protect our gains and not vote for the return of the NDC because they will send us backward should they return.
He touted the free SHS policy, the one village one dam, the Nation Builders Corps, planting for food and jobs, and other policies to support his argument that the NPP has performed far better than the NDC.
