2020 polls will go into run-off, but we’II not record violence-Apostle
The General Overseer of Kings International Church Apostle Douglas Amanor, has said none of the two major political parties i.e the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win the presidential polls in the first round.
Speaking to Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi on ‘Kyere Me Kwan’ on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the Apostle said
He also disputed claims that the general polls would be characterised by violence.
He told the host the elections would be peaceful but will not be determined in the first round.
”The 2020 presidential election will not be determined by the first round. It will go into a second-round before the winner would be determined. I would also to state categorically that the elections would be peaceful. They would be no violence in Ghana. Ignore anyone who would pronounce violence,” he added.
He has also indicated all the spiritual forces in Ghana will be holding their general elections on August 5, 2020, and declare a winner for the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Their results he added would be what will reflect come December 7, 2020.
