Kwasi Kyei
Darkwah (pronounced Kwaysee Chay Da:qua) is the suave,
cultivated and experienced communications director of
Ghanaian ancestry. He is a well-known broadcaster, trainer
and producer of corporate and entertainment events and hosts
numerous events of national and cultural significance. He
currently presents Bands Alive on Ghana’s TV3.
Kwasi holds a Master of Arts Degree in Film and Television
Production from London Metropolitan University, Certificates
in Marketing Management from Ghana Institute of Management
and Public Administration, Production and Cost Management
from the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship of
Japan, Delivering Learning to Adults from Westminster Adult
Education Service in the UK and Diploma in Journalism from
Ghana Institute of Journalism. He is the Director of Public
Affairs and Communications at the Ghana Investment Promotion
Centre (GIPC), the agency mandated by Act 478 to promote,
attract and retain investments in Ghana with a view to
creating wealth and sustainable jobs for Ghanaians.
KKD–The Finest, as he is popularly known, is highly
articulate and well-versed in client service management,
creative direction, speech writing, media planning, and
conference management. He speaks with clarity and insight on
media and culture, public affairs, customer service, and
investment promotion. He remains a notable personality in
Ghana’s showbiz, leading presenter of high profile
ceremonies, and astute speaker on entertainment and sartorial
issues. His courteous and stylish manner is greatly admired
in Ghana and its diaspora, and greatly emulated too.
Kwasi has retained a unique appeal to diverse audiences over
the years writing, planning and delivering rewarding
advertising and public relations campaigns for large, medium
and small-scale companies in Europe and Africa including
Ghana International Bank, ABC Brewery Ltd, World Express
International Couriers, Nayak, PMMC, Meridian Global Finance,
Miss Ghana, Premfisa, Ghana Post, Bennyfranks Estates and
Unity Link Financial Services. He continues to write riveting
catch-phrases and speeches for captains of industry. He has
recently produced and presented corporate and public events
for Ghana Tourist Board, MTN, Ghana Investment Promotion
Centre, Barclays Bank, His Royal Majesty Okyenhene, Ministry
of Trade and Industry, Kosmos Energy, GTV, TV3 and Ghana’s
first-ever telethon- Reachout Ghana to raise funds for the
flood-affected communities across the country.

Certificates in Broadcast Production Techniques from Radio
and TV Training School, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Hotel
Management as well as Food and Beverage Service from Ghana
Tourist Board, and Essential Marketing Skills from Price
Waterhouse.
