Security in the Upper West Akyim district is under serious threat as the police has no single vehicle for their operations.
Therefore, there are unable to pursue crime and other violence.
Our Eastern regional correspondent, Prince Collins Bening has been following and reports that the situation has affected the operations of the police in the area.
Complainants have to hire vehicles when they report cases at the police station before they are able to effect an arrest.
The police in the area says it is not their intention to subject complainants to such pressure but they have no other option than to that.
