Oct 19, 2015
The regional secretary for the National Democratic Congress in the Eastern region, Mark Oliver Kevor says there is nobody within the NDC to courageously contest President Mahama because of his unprecedented achievements and record. In an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem, the secretary described President Mahama as a great leader with exceptional leadersip qualities that cannot be compared to any other person. We in the Eastern Region have pledged our 100% vote for the president to continue his great work, he said. According to him there is no need in changing a winning team and so he [President Mahama] should be giving the nod to lead the party to victory come 2016. Take a look at the road sector, look the educational sector and all the sectors and you will be amazed at the achievements of the party it is remarkable, it is amazing it is exception, and great. Oliver Kevor opined that it would have been suicidal for anyone to contest Mahama. Our endorsement is to show appreciation for his great achievements, he stated. President Mahama has united the front of the party, it shows how great a leader he is. What happened at the Koforidua Jackson Park is a clear indication of what the people want and the one they want is President Mahama, he stressed.
