NABCO Trainees asked to pay GHc100 for transportation fare for passing out ceremony?

Information gathered by rainbowradioonline.com has it that, Nation Builders Corps Trainees have been asked to deposit an amount of GHc100 as transportation fare to travel to Accra for the passing out ceremony. The trainees are to deposit the money at their various districts. The deadline for the payment is 15th October 2018. The central focus of NABCO is to create employment avenues and opportunities for young people who hold diploma or degrees from accredited tertiary institution. The passing out ceremony for NABCO trainees will be held at the Independence Square. The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme is a government initiative to address graduate unemployment to solve social problems. The focus of the initiative will be solving public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection. The Nation Builders Corps (NACOB) National Secretariat has announced that institutional placement of recruits will begin on Monday October 8, for 100,000 trainees selected into the talent pool. “Institutional Placements and Module Orientation: the above exigencies means that the institutional placements will now take place for all NABCO trainees from Monday October 8, 2018. Our Module Implementation Partners are expected to make arrangements at the Regional and District levels for the module-specific orientation of all NABCO trainees during that week. All MIPs should expect trainees to subsequently report to work after the public passing out ceremony now slated for Wednesday, October 17,” the Secretariat said in a statement said.
