A meeting between the government of Ghana and officials from the world football governing body, FIFA has been successful, a tweet by the Ministry of Youth and Sports has said.
The Ministry says Ghanaians will be duly informed over what transpired at the meeting held today [Friday] at the appropriate time.
There was an attempt to postpone the meeting, however, the delegation from FIFA was already in the country and in the bid to accord them the needed respect, the meeting was held.
The fear of a possible ban due to the intended dissolution is also out of the question and will not happen, information gathered by rainbowradioonline.com has indicated.
The meeting was held between FIFA and government but there was no GFA official at the meeting, we also gathered.
Present at the meeting were Godfred Yeboah Dame, Samuel Abu Jinapor, Isaac Asiamah, Sports Minister and Frank Quist as well as the Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid.
