Sports actually, a UK based sports company has organized a one on one sessions for kids’ football trainers.   The training was geared towards building the capacity of participants to believe in themselves, their tactical programme, have a well developed plan before coming onto the pitch to train the kids'.   In an interview the CEO of Sports actually, Mr. Edwin Yartey told Rainbow Radio’s Wallace Worlanyo Wallace that, kid’s trainers should be professional in the discharge of their job.   Their technical explanations he said must be simple and straight forward. They should be able to explain to the kids why they need to be happy when playing a game; they should make them enjoy the game and not attack them, he added. A professional Kids’ coach should not scream at them but develop a professional way to talk to them, he said.   Participants will be awarded certificates after the training. Edwin Yartey appealed to the football governing body to support the training to make it an annual training programme so more coaches will benefit.   About Edwin Yartey   Edwin Yartey is an experienced sports coach who has been coaching children and young people for more than 10yrs.
